"Cores do Brasil" is the title of a fascinating exhibition of hand-painted paintings and bags. The unique works were created by young people from the community of Pedreira, a neighborhood in the southern suburbs of São Paulo, Brazil, during art activities at Casa dos Curumins. This social project was founded in 2005 by Ticino couple Alberto and Adriana Eisenhardt, who have been directing the Association's social and educational projects on site since 2010.
La Casa dos Curumins, an oasis of peace and civilization, now welcomes, nurtures, educates and cares for more than 600 injured and marginalized children and adolescents, restoring their dignity, the right to childhood and providing an opportunity to live a life worth living. During the opening period of the exhibition, playful moments and workshops are offered aimed at children, youth and their families, providing an opportunity to discover together a Brazil full of colors and joy of living, capable of surprising and inspiring young and old alike. This initiative not only celebrates the creativity of young artists, but also promotes solidarity and intercultural understanding, as well as the value of freedom, peace and love of life
