Alborosie, pseudonym of Alberto D'Ascola, is not only a singer-songwriter and beatmaker, but a true pioneer of Italian reggae. Born in Marsala in 1977, he moved to Lombardy at a very young age, where his passion for Jamaican music was born.
With Reggae National Tickets, the band he founded, Alborosie has sold over two hundred thousand records and graced the stages of major reggae festivals around the world, including Reggae Sumfest and Rototom Sunsplash .
