Vittorio Lingiardi, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, is full professor of Dynamic Psychology at Sapienza University of Rome and Senior Research Fellow at Sapienza School of Advanced Studies (SSAS). He is president of the Society for Research in Psychotherapy (SPR-ItalyArea Group).
In 2018 he received the Musatti Award of the Italian Psychoanalytic Society and in 2020 the Research Award of the Society for Psychoanalysis of theAmerican Psychological Association. He collaborates with "il Venerdí di Repubblica" (where he keeps the weekly column "Psycho"), "la Repubblica", "La Stampa" and the cultural insert of "Il Sole 24 Ore". For Einaudi he published "Diagnosis and Fate" (2018), "Archipelago N. Variations on Narcissism" (2021) and "The Navel of the Dream" (2023). In addition to his many academic texts, for Raffaello Cortina he published "Mindscapes. Psyche in the Landscape" (2017) and "At the Movies with the Psychoanalyst" (2020).
