Curated by Valentina Grignoli
In a town that cannot be identified but could just as easily be Lugano, the inhabitants wake up one day to find that the lake is gone. It has escaped, disappeared. It has slipped into the bowels of the earth, through a ravine, and unearthed submerged garbage, rubble hidden beneath the surface of the water. The inhabitants scramble to adapt to the change that catches them unprepared. They engineer themselves into fixing the fixable in search of the lost balance. Some characters, however, question themselves. A choral novel that places climate change alongside the personal changes of a series of characters, citizens of a static and opportunistic country. In the background, the passing weather merges with the weather.
During the lunch break, the book will be presented by Valentina Grignoli in dialogue with the Paco Jasa collective.
