Blues to Bop has been the festival celebrating the blues in Lugano since 1989. Originating from an earlier jazz event, New Orleans in Lugano, it offers a wide selection of concerts each summer featuring local and international artists in the city's squares. These spaces become not only performance venues, but also opportunities for discovery through in-depth sessions with the artists.

Blues to Bop School
Some of the artists will headline three meetings and lectures on music and blues history.
The one-hour meetings-free admission-take place at the Mouth Point of Ciani Park, and are translated into Italian.
