Since 1977 in the heart of the City
Estival Jazz is the event that has been bringing free concerts by top artists to Lugano since the 1970s. The brainchild of Jacky Marti and Andreas Wyden, Estival Jazz takes up the legacy of the Lugano Jazz Club, which launched the first international jazz festival in Switzerland in 1962. Since its inception, Estival Jazz has hosted artists of international caliber, becoming a traditional event for Lugano residents, Ticino residents, and visitors from all over Europe.
