Nevercrew artist duo returns to Lugano, with a new site-specific intervention
This new site-specific intervention, realized between July 8 and July 22 on the facade of the Lido in Lugano, will fit into the urban fabric with a pictorial project that will once again reflect Nevercrew's poetic vision, which for years has been investigating the relationship between human beings and the environment. Conceived in direct relationship with the existing architecture and its urban and natural context, the work will develop as a horizontal narrative in which real elements characterizing the façade, visual elements and symbolic elements will dialogue, playing with light, rhythm and the relationship between the real and the represented. As is customary in Nevercrew's itinerary, the work will not be limited to the painted surface, but will offer itself as a trigger for a broader reflection on the relationship between man and the environment, between local and global, between observer and observed, inserting itself in space as a dynamic and partly changing device, capable of transforming itself and suggesting multiple readings.
