The magic repeats, again this year. Lugano Buskers returns announcing the first artists in the line-up. The city will host more than 40 artists including musicians, acrobats and actors from all over the world who will perform in different locations as well as during the evening after parties.

The complete Estival Jazz line-up is online. They are joined by Ben Harper, Gilberto Gil, Judith Hill, Stanley Clarke, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Mark Lettieri and Beppe Donadio.

On July 15 The Notwist, one of Germany's most iconic independent bands, will take the stage. The band, formed in 1989 in Munich, consists of Markus Acher (vocals and guitar), Michael Acher (bass), and Andi Haberl (drums).

Estival Jazz, the historic Lugano music event, today announced the first big name on the international music scene of its 43rd edition. Winner of 3 Grammy Awards, Ben Harper on Friday, July 7, 2023 will enchant Piazza della Riforma in Lugano with his historic guitar playing, offering a genuine performance sure to be remembered.

Opened a call for artists from the Swiss music scene to perform as part of the LongLake Festival July 14-17.

The Festival's music program will offer four evenings of music and concerts from July 14 to 17, 2023 for a fee in the charming Boschetto of Parco Ciani. To attend each concert, it is possible to buy a ticket for a single evening, or purchase a subscription to all four evenings.

The first confirmed guests are Coma Cose who will perform on the Boschetto - Parco Ciani Ciani stage on Monday, July 17! The duo will be in concert for the first time in Lugano right on the occasion of LongLake Festival! Presales open from today at 10 a.m. on ticket office.ch.

From July 7 to 23, 2023, the LongLake international festival returns. The 13th edition comes with a proposal that combines large-scale musical events with alternative and experimental events, concentrated in two weeks of July in the green and urban spaces located on the lakefront. Sir Taki is a visual artist and filmmaker residing between the United Kingdom and Switzerland. The Two Romans is one of 18 bands that will perform in Lugano during the LongLake La Quairmesse Festival, a weekend of free open-air concerts that bring musicians from the Swiss scene to the stage. Regina Kioko Ikeda Ferretti is a multidisciplinary artist who has been active in Ticino for years. In July 2022, she made an ephemeral intervention at the invitation of Arte Urbana Lugano (AUL), a project of the Events and Convention Division that brings international local artists to the city each year during the LongLake Festival to bring new life to public spaces.

Antoine Déprez (FRA, 1978) and Ursula Bucher (CH/GR 1977), are illustrators and artists who have been active in Ticino since 2002. In July 2022 they will create an intervention near Lugano's Lido at the invitation of Arte Urbana Lugano (AUL), a project of the Events and Convention Division that brings international street artists to the city each year during the LongLake Festival to breathe new life into public spaces.

"CenerentoQUA CenerentoLA" is a musical and sensory performance by the Italian Opera and Concert Association (AsLiCo) for children aged 0 to 3 years, which will be staged on July 21 at the Palazzo dei Congressi during the LongLake Family Festival. We talk about it with Anna Pedrazzini, who edited the play's dramaturgy.

From July 14 to 29, LongLake Wor(l)ds Festival will make the minds of the public breathe and inspire: from literature to art, via theater and music, 23 evening events with free admission inside Parco Ciani. The Sondilá group will be at the LongLake Buskers Festival on July 13, 16 and 17, with two batucada moments, the Brazilian folk parade, two concerts and a samba, percussion and capoeira workshop. We meet Diego Calasso, founder of the group.

"Les Frikis" is a comedy, circus and musical show, performed by Costrini and Mina, which will take place at the lakefront from July 13 to 17 as part of LongLake Buskers Festival. We talk about it with Costrini, circus artist and creator of the show.

Son Lux is an American electronic and experimental music trio consisting of Ryan Lott, Rafiq Bhatia and Ian Chang. Son Lux will play in concert on July 23 at Parco Ciani during the LongLake ROAM Festival.
