2023 edition dates confirmed
From July 7 to 23, 2023, the LongLake international festival returns. The 13th edition comes with a proposal that combines large-scale musical events with alternative and experimental events, concentrated in two weeks of July in the green and urban spaces located on the lakefront. The first big names the news of this edition will be announced soon.
"It must be a party!" - Interview with Valentino Vivace
Valentino Vivace is one of 18 artists who will perform during the LongLake La Quairmesse Festival, a weekend of free open-air concerts bringing musicians from the Swiss scene to the stage. We meet Valentino Vivace before the July 30 concert at the Grove of Ciani Park.
Who is Adam? - Interview with Sir Taki, visual artist and filmmaker
Sir Taki is a visual artist and filmmaker residing between the United Kingdom and Switzerland. In July 2022 Sir Taki made an intervention proposed to Arte Urbana Lugano (AUL), a project of the Events and Convention Division that brings international local artists to the city each year during the LongLake Festival to bring new life to public spaces.
"The passion to play our music is always the same" - Interview with Samuel of The Two Romans
The Two Romans is one of 18 bands that will perform in Lugano during the LongLake La Quairmesse Festival, a weekend of free open-air concerts that bring musicians from the Swiss scene to the stage. "The Ousted Kings" - Interview with Antoine Déprez and Ursula Bucher
Antoine Déprez (FRA, 1978) and Ursula Bucher (CH/GR 1977), are illustrators and artists who have been active in Ticino since 2002. In July 2022 they will create an intervention near Lugano's Lido at the invitation of Arte Urbana Lugano (AUL), a project of the Events and Convention Division that brings international street artists to the city each year during the LongLake Festival to breathe new life into public spaces.
LongLake Wor(l)ds Festival (Copy)
"CenerentoQUA CenerentoLA" is a musical and sensory performance by the Italian Opera and Concert Association (AsLiCo) for children aged 0 to 3 years, which will be staged on July 21 at the Palazzo dei Congressi during the LongLake Family Festival. LongLake Wor(l)ds Festival
From July 14 to 29, LongLake Wor(l)ds Festival will make the minds of the public breathe and inspire: from literature to art, via theater and music, 23 evening events with free admission inside Ciani Park. The Sondilá group will be at the LongLake Buskers Festival on July 13, 16 and 17, with two batucada moments, the Brazilian folk parade, two concerts and a samba, percussion and capoeira workshop. We meet Diego Calasso, founder of the group.

"A familiar and new sound" - Interview with Son Lux
Son Lux is an American electronic and experimental music trio consisting of Ryan Lott, Rafiq Bhatia and Ian Chang. Son Lux will play in concert on July 23 at Ciani Park during the LongLake ROAM Festival.
LongLake Urban Art Festival
During the three-week LongLake Festival local and international artists will leave their mark on the walls of the city: Urban Art, a festival of Urban Art, the City of Lugano's project created in 2009 to bring art into public space, is back. We talk about it with Valeria Donnarumma, creator and coordinator of Urban Art Lugano.
LongLake La Quairmesse Festival
On Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31, Lugano is the capital of national music.
